It really adds something when added at the end, I use it early in the cooking as well but it seems to then disappear into the sauce and I'm not sure it's worth it.

I don't blend my own stuff I just buy good quality curry powder and GM.

 

Needs some spread but I'd still eat it, I'm hungry at the mo.

 

Theres so many versions, depending on where you are but yes most use it at the end as a finishing spice.

Next time you make a Chilli Con Carne, apart from using cumin powder try a spoonful of GM just at the end. it really is like chalk n cheese.
