I think he was referring to the fundamentalist, extremist part of Islam. It may be a perverted version of their faith and it may be a minority but it is still related to Islam and it is still a sizable faction. That's how I interpreted his comment anyway.

Not like that at all in fact Inviting people to islam in public etc. For example I do stalls. People come talk to me. I have never knocked on any ones house etc some people like to get on the offensive, but only a small minority. The majority take leaflets etc and go on their way. some come back 1 0r 2 become muslim occassionally
