Great interview on Radio Humberside tonight, Burnsy and Swanny talking to Adam Pearson.

Adam is looking at the possibility of finding/building a new ground for Hull FC, wants a 15K stadium to call Hull FC's home as doesn't like sharing a ground, private equity money would be used to fund it. I still think he would like to own City as well but money is the issue. Should be able to listen to the show again on BBC Iplayer / Sounds.

programme will be available to listen again shortly

Funny looking back and remembering the RL lot, two of them in particular ( my memory is going but I bet Urika Peece can remember them) going on about the KC would be a white elephant and it should be a 15,000 seat stadium where you could change ends at half time as a bigger stadium would only be needed if Leeds United moved here. These two idiots got a lot 9f time and space on RH and in the HDM spouting their nonsense. One was a fat slob who ran the FC fans forum (with a signature of Hull FC and Leeds United - Pride Of Yorkshire. That disappeared after TWS went down to Div 3.) and the other lived down Glasgow Street. I once contacted RH and asked them to invite them on and ask them about their statements they had given on Sportstalk given the crowds City had and the 20,000 + crowds for football and rugby internationals. I was more or less told that would be too confrontational.

The obvious solution is Hull FC ground sharing at a purpose built RL stadium in Hull, with quick access when Castle Street is complete down Roger Millward Way to Preston Road.

FC started playing in East Hull so they will be going home. Mind you, Rovers first played in West Hull.

Hull played at the rifle barracks down Park st/Londesborough St when they first played in the city.

"Hull F.C., then nicknamed the All Blacks, were one of the initial 22 clubs to form the Northern Union after the acrimonious split from the Rugby Football Union in 1895. The club moved from East Hull to the Hull Athletic Club at the Boulevard in 1895"

" they first played in East Hull."

I think you have expressed yourself clumsily and meant to say "Immediately prior to playing at the Boulevard, they played in East Hull for a few years"

Didn't you ?
