In the County Hurdle I have .................................................... absolutely no idea, not even an opinion. All that news about Brian Hughes missing Cheltenham to try and get some winners on the board towards retaining the champion jockey title. He's had 2 thus far.
Been afk - did I miss anything? Oddy's fishy talk made me hungry - so made salmon and tomato sarnies! Of course the salmon was tinned - I'm not made of money! Not this week anyway RIP Chester Barnes, my hero when I was starting out playing table tennis as a boy, played with his signature bat for a while - it was a square blade to facilitate a loop shot. 2 in the next Eclair De Beaufeu and Strong Glance
I'd be a little critical of Milkwood's pilot, think he got a bit excited too early coming down the hill when he should have been a little mroe patient. The Skelton team didn't get enough breathing operations into Third Time Lucki either, do they not have a gallop at home that goes uphill, I do wonder.
thank you very much from the heart. Maybe today is one of those days. Anyway, with Q and EDB I'm satisfied now. I have a lot of confidence in SOD in the next one and especially in Elimay of course.
Going well so far. Global Citizen was going well with the leaders and then smoothly moved through horses until he got to the back. Hopefully nothing wrong with the horse. If there is I would sack the jockey for not pulling up at that point
Nice timing though... Release the statement during the final day of Cheltenham an hour and a half before the Gold Cup... Wonder which will take up more space in the papers this week?
Isn't this Exactly what we expected? "...Ban the whistle-blower!....Threaten them if necessary!.... How dare anyone provide proof of mistreatment of animals on our watch, when we fully expected to sweep it under the carpet." Predictably pathetic, methinks.
