Proved their worth, lol, combined they cost less than £300k Mahrez. How is winning 2 PL with 2 clubs better than winning 13 PL and 2 CL with one club?
Where did I say it was better? ... but the point stands ... Griggs and Scholes spent their life playing for the biggest club in the country at a time when United were also outstanding everyone else in the transfer market ... not that surprising that they were succesful ...
Well the point was that there are levels to winning, and I rightly pointed out that Giggs is the most decorated league winner in major European football history, Scholes 2 behind and with 4 CL medals between them, as well as correcting you that neither Mahrez nor Kante have won everything available to them and that’s why there are levels. The fact that you’re championing Mahrez and Kante who play for clubs manufactured by money and claiming United bought their success (despite us often having to sell our stars to balance the books) shows that there are also levels to this game, and you’re scraping survival in League 2 while Tel runs riots in the top tier. Sleep.
Kante hasn't yet got a CL medal ... but he might still ... but he does have EL and FA Cup winners ... plus a World Cup winners ... ... but you've turned this into a United comparison which it was never intended to be ... just a comment about players other than Gerrard winning 'everything available'
... but only whilst with the one mega bucks club still ... Robert Huth 3 PL winners with 2 clubs Riyad Mahrez 2 (likely 3) with 2 clubs Ngolo Kante 2 with 2 clubs
I don't see why winning it with one club then going on to win it with another (even more mega bucks) club is deemed better? Wes Brown won it with his local club, which he could walk to. As did Scholes and Giggs, none of them were bought, all them them were academy players. Does that make it somehow more special? Just wondering what the parameters are? Or is the parameter, won one with Leicester, and another elsewhere, which is deemed unbetterable. *made up word*
Like Kante going to money bags Chavski and marhez sitting on the bench to collect silverware at money pit city means anything to anyone. Fully with you on that point.
"It was on a famous Saturday, in the month of May. I saw a bunch of scouser's walking up the Wembley way they said 'we're gonna win the treble, we're gonna win the cup', it was on that famous Saturday United ****ed it up." Used that song in '85 as well (was actually at that one) It's good song!
No. It was about levels Fosse. Show me a player with more league medals than Giggs, in a top league. I’ll wait.
Snap. The Soton final is the first game of togger I can remember watching live on the box. Back when cup final day coverage started at 9 am, I remember cup final day being something exciting, as there was so little live footie on the TV back then.
