No we are not. This is being discussed because of the ****ty idea of having a Leeds Legends and a Liverpool legends night at the KC. The reasons we are having these is because the people running the events at the stadium have had a **** year, ( they are in lockdown in case you haven't noticed ) and have not took a bean, people laid off, people furloughed etc. This will be seen as two solid bookings when they have been in short supply.
In the ideal world these would be Hull City nights, bookings for Hull City fans, But they are not. The club are skint, nothing is coming in but on these two nights it will be. Pity we haven't more support of our own and people and the demand to organise these things for our club and it's supporters. But it's business, it's turnover, and at the moment we don't have much of it for one reason and another, one of them being our lack of paying customers/members.
Don't like it but there you are. That is the reality of it.

The next owner could be a 'Ratner,' followed by another and then another. So, some that stick by their principles may never see another City match ever again, that's their choice and loss. I'm too stubborn to let any owner we may have drive me away. Support the team not the regime.

Yep when people rubbish the KCOM experience, you wonder how much of it is our owners. stewards etc and how much it's just modern football.

Full of shallow, disloyal, choosey, disengaged spectators with state of the art mobile phones who know more about the Top 6, Barca, Rabona than their own club, and vain, cheating, preening, overpaid self-obsessed players. All in nanny state stadium and atmosphere wanted by perfidious well-to-to families with little sense of traditional 'thick and thin' support.

How many clubs are owned by people you'd want to come in at City?

There are load of **** owners about

It's easier and convenient to blame the owners as it won't be questioned by most, as apposed to just admit your a fair weather fan. Or just don't want to/can't spend the money on football or a number of other reasons.

Each to their own, but as with some others, I support the team/players/staff and not the owners and no owner no matter how **** they are would stop me going.

One question for all those kicking up a stink - if Ehab stopped the Leeds night and replaced it with a city legends event, would you actually put your hand in your pocket and support the event so the club didn't lose money? Or would you just bitch and moan about it online?

Queue the "allam apologist, allam supporter" bollox that will inevitably come

I do not support the view that football club should have owners. They should have Presidents. I do believe in supporter/community ownership and would
always want the sports club model to be adopted.

Like nearly everywhere else in the world.

It gets rid of property developers as owners.

The problem is the people of Hull. Not the ones on here, but in general. They will turn up for these things. Which is why they are holding them here, the organisers are aware of the proliferation of these sad types in the city. Can't see these things going down well in Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth...Or Burnley which is closer to Leeds and Liverpool than Hull is.

Well you lads can go on and get on with it then. I wish you all the best.

Seriously, I'm not having this ****. Talk about selling out.

You're happy to let Leeds United have a ****ing knees up at the Circle?

Love and luck to everyone else on here.

I never said I was happy to have white white having a night at the KC.

So if it was canned in favour of a city legends night so that the SMC didn't lose the money... Would you put your hand in your pocket to support it seen as your so unhappy at the Leeds event?

Norwich don't need that sort of thing. Since 2005 they have sold out their season tickets every year, no matter which league, PL, Championship or League 1, they were in. Must have good owners. Though they are only worth about one eighth of what ours are.

Leeds United aren't having a knees up. Some company, which has nothing to do with Leeds United, is organising it. Sadly there are enough sad inadequates in Hull to make it a success for them.

Like WBA, they accept being a yo yo club, and cut their cloth accordingly.

Bear in mind of course, there's **** all else to do down there.

As much as some other cities I can think of. Which is why they get more tourists.
