The end of last season was so bizarre that it isn't a barometer of anything. Had we not had 3 months off, we'd have finished bottom half. He was always going to play football that we don't have the players for. It's like taking over an ice cream business and deciding to build a nuclear reactor...****ing nuts.
But but Spurs have a nice shiny stadium and training ground. Remember wanting good football and to win trophies makes you entitled and spoilt according to some on here
I think it is time for Kane to go to Levy and say sack Mourinho or I will demand a transfer. Paying £30 mill to Jose will be peanuts compared with how much less he will get for Kane in the current financial climate
I am a Spurs man, and I’ve been laughing for months and months. We’ve had the life sucked out of us and it’s become normal to see terrible results/performances. but the bad results don’t bother me any more like they used to. I’m sure I’m not the only fan who feels very detached from the club.
They would have also hid an unescapable truth...we are appalling, play turgid football and have a half baked, past it cretin for a manager and a chairman who has monumentally screwed up yet another managerial decision.
Has he gone yet? If not why not? Sack him now and make him pay for his own Easyjet flight home. He is an utter embarrassment.
Point I was making is that if the players are that bad, they still kept a cleansheet, which deserves to be included, particularly when In response to someone talking about the 210 of game time as a whole. I could have talked about 0 scored in 140 minutes. For me, 2 goals scored in that time is much worse than 3 conceded, considering the oppostion. I think we largely agree on Jose though.
Good football comes as a consequence of having good players. Good players comes from having money to spend and developing them properly. The stadium and the training ground are essential building blocks to make up the ground we lost in the 90s.
Im not saying he wasn’t, but it’ll still be hilarious for many Spurs fans and neutral fans. and possibly quite embarrassing for Levy. Super duper Spursy.
And the point I'm making is they were that bad they knew they needed to keep a clean sheet tonight, and what did they do? The opposite
What's the point in sacking Jose? I think there has been around 12 managers under Levy and I would count only two (Poch and Redknapp) who were relatively successful. Who's to say Levy will finally get it right next time? After all, he was after Jose for so long and look how that turned out. Levy needs to step away from the football side ASAP.
I suppose one way you could look at it is that his next managerial appointment really couldn’t be much worse...
This is exactly how I feel. I used to be so pissed off when we lost and after a game like this it would ruin probably all of tomorrow and the weekend! But I’m already over it I just don’t care anymore and that’s what this manager has done to the way I feel about the club as a whole.
All we needed to do was score too. We didn't park the bus and we didn't attack with any cohesion. This is what Jose considers attacking football.
I’m buzzing I don’t have to go games at the moment. Missing my mates terribly as well as the lads I know at football but I’m honestly ecstatic I’m not setting foot in that stadium at the moment.
