Think they are hoping to kill off the pensioners first to save a boatload of cash, and here we have the most deadly strain and have been on full lockdown since November last year, they are even trying to delete the internet pics of the bodies stacked in containers in morgues and behind hospitals and empty factory buildings. there were elections held in 2 districts this weekend and Merkles CDC left part was murdered in the vote, mainly for trying to hide the truth
Just had my first dose of Oxford Vaccine - arrived 5 minutes early and was queued right around the health centre and up into the car park. Ended up jabbed about 50 minutes after my appointment. Relatively painless so far, just told not to drive for 10 minutes - no warnings about avoiding alcohol

I had my jab (Astra Zenica) yesterday morning - I felt a bit rough about 12 hours afterwards, had a bit of a temperature and a splitting headache last night - hardly had any sleep but it seems to have gone now. It all felt very similar to a virus I had in January last year.
It'll be interesting to see what else comes out over the next few weeks. Inquiry by press might encourage an actual inquiry. Most Western countries with similar transport links were caught equally flat footed.
First covid test today - no symptoms, just part of the process when you have kids at school. Came back negative (obvs) so onwards and upwards. Thinking of stockpiling these tests then getting a few of the lads round for the Peterborough match. Get them all tested at the door, then all the negatives can come in and get stuck into the beers (I'm joking obviously)
I’ve debated whether to post this or not, but, it might help someone so here it is. I had my jab Mon afternoon. Felt ok but increasingly fatigued. Tues night I started feeling itchy, unbearably so on my hands, which were swelling & hot. Then my mouth, lips & face started swelling to the point I could barely speak & I started vomiting. I also felt quite confused, not sure if dreaming or awake. at this point my daughter rang for an ambulance. While on the phone they advised her to give me an antihistamine tablet, which she did. Ambulance arrived, gave me antihistamine injection. They were of the opinion it was a rare, bad allergic reaction to the jab. Things slowly improved & today I’m feeling & looking, more myself, though still exhausted. If you are concerned about having a reaction like this, I would recommend having some antihistamines handy. I could feel the effects almost instantly, slowing the reaction down. Wish I’d taken one when the itching started, maybe things wouldn’t have got so bad. Mind you, I’m carrying off the remaining ‘trout pout’ remarkably well Good luck with your jabs
That can only be good to know, marra . . . . thanks for letting us all know I once had an incident in Majorca with itching/swelling etc. when Mrs. A. and I were really concerned after I had, we assumed. been bitten by an ant (little bastard). Fortunately, I sometimes get hay fever, and following Mrs. A.s advice Loratadine (antihistamine) came to my rescue. I took twice the usual dose and a couple of hours later it was as if it hadn't happened
My daughter sometimes gets hay fever so thankfully had some handy. Just a bog standard hay fever tablet but it helped.
Just read on the news today that clinical trails of Oxford AZ out performs Pfizer with the least amount of problems, and since the EU have put a block on shipments of vaccines to UK which the UK paid for and also paid 76% of the research costs, they have been warned, 4 of the main ingredients to the Pfizer vaccine are made in Britain, so they had better stop messing around. The EU is also sitting on 13m jabs but wants to block UK supplies. Britain supplies AZ to the world at cost price, but the EU has put a block on vaccines Britain produces in the EU Today Hancock warned Brussels not to break contract law
They are so unbelievably bitter and jealous. Slightly different, today France reckons their wine is going to cost us more, so I've made the decision to have no more of theirs. There's good stuff from Chile, Oz etc. to satisfy my tastebuds
Bloody hell MR, that sounds even worse than I've been reading about. I don't think any of the Western governments have really known what to do here mind. It's this mistake from that lot, the other mistake from the other lot and on and on. Bloody nightmare really. But for all that I personally believe politicians and others involved have done their best at balancing the whole matter, there is one obvious exception to this. For the leaders, if you can use such a term now, of the EU countries to cede such a thing as vaccine procurement and distribution to the EU Commission when health care had always been outside it's competence, was a grotesque abrogation of responsibility and duty. We all know how the commission works; it has been acting in the same way for decades. Delay, bully, blame the third party, eventually agree, talk it out and everyone muddles along. But this has not been a matter of the thickness of textile rugs, or the importing of caramel, or the amount of pigment in a coloured paint. It has been a simple matter of seeing an urgent need for medicine , seeing it and acting on it quickly, and if necessary learning quickly from others who have moved already. The travelling failures who make up the Commission should hang their heads in shame forever, but they will not. It will be the innocent people of Europe who will suffer and are suffering now in greater numbers than they should have been. Anyway, hopefully it all gets better a lot quicker than we all think mate.
There is never a good time to commit an act of grievous self harm. But as for a worse time, the EU have picked it. They have now taken a stance that it is their right to seize private property, both physical and intellectual, and this decision will reverberate down the years. It is worthy of Stalin . You can just see the multi nationals now, wondering where they should be citing their next business, and not just in pharma either. An utterly brain dead decision. And, as you say, that is without mentioning the fact that important components in the making of the Pfizer vaccine are imported.from the UK!
Had my first dose a few weeks back - only side effects were I was exhausted, that's it. No headache, no fever, just being exhausted.
Had my 2nd Pfizer jab this morning. Fortunately never had a reaction to the 1st and up to now no ill effects from the 2nd. Dont know enough about either and wasnt particualrly bothered about it apart from the fact I fully suspect this vaccination passport will happen and I like my holidays.
if you wear a spaceman suit the authorities may let you in to Germany for a visit we have all the amenities at my place
