Didn’t Wyndham mark George Best when Best made his debut for Stockport?

No mention of this on either of their wiki pages. Useless, or what ? <laugh>

Best played for so many Club's after leaving Utd. Prodigious talent, but somewhat lacking in character.

Best, Law and Charlton. What a trio they were.

I was at The Vetch when he played for Northern Ireland. The crowd loved him, and cheered him to the rafters. He probably thought he was in Belfast. <laugh>

I was there that day as well - Tony Millington was in goal for Wales.

Here’s George’s autograph from 2 days earlier when the NI squad trained at BP Llandarcy.

Derek Dougan and the Manager, Billy Bingham, are the other 2 signatures<cheers>

Malcolm Struel is standing between Tosh and the Mayor (Alan Lloyd?).

Ivor Pursey (ex President of the Welsh FA and a friend of my late father) is the ‘old boy’ wearing specs on the left.

I knew Malcolm very well from his time on the Committee of Neath RFC.
