Interesting. He's saying exactly the same as all the other managers recently. "we could have won". "Didn't take our chances" "They only had a couple of efforts" etc etc. We are allowing teams to play where they can't hurt us. Makes them feel they are doing well Bottom line his team hasn't had a shot on goal and guess what we won again. That's not luck. Reminds me of When Leicester won the league. Opposition managers would always say they were the better team and Leicester weren't that great only had a couple of attacks. But Leicester didn't care they just kept on winning.
100% correct. Leicester came to the SOL, did absolutely nothing, Vardy scored on the break and they won the title ... ... exactly what they did week after week.

"On another night the result could've been different." On another night the match might've started with absolutely no chance of it finishing you daft baldy knacker
After Wyke's goal I noticed their No.4 going mental at the referee .... ... having watched it back, I've still no idea why.
I agree mate. He did very little wrong tonight and to be honest the one or maybe two "slightly poor" touches he made only stand out because he has been flawless the last few weeks. There was a couple of moments on Sunday where you would have thought it was a training match down at the AOL, he was so calm and relaxed just controlling it and playing it out of defence when most would have hoofed it in a cup final. Not even in his natural position, my god how far would some players have went if they had his attitude.
Amazing stat I’ve just read... 26 of Charlie’s 27 goals have been one touch finishes. Love a good stat me.
He came out with similar rubbish 2 years ago when we beat them 3-nil at their place at the rearranged game. How they had a 15 minute spell in the second half where they were the better team. They were 2-0 down at half time, had some possession in the first 15 minutes of the second half without doing much, we upped a gear and scored a 3rd and saw it off comfortably and could have scored more. I've seen a couple of his post match interviews this season and they're generally the same. Dour, makes excuses for results and blames referees or that the opposition were lucky. My mate said to me the other day that Accrington had done a Wycombe. Had half a season of decent form and results up to Christmas and were in and around the play-offs, but now their forms dipped and they've gradually drifted away. This time last year the league was suspended and I genuinely believe if it hadn't been, Wycombe would have slipped further down the table and finished somewhere between 10th and 14th. And I think in the next few weeks we'll see that happen to Accrington with them ending up somewhere in mid table.
