We all thought Johnson was a solid appointment, in the main a very good one, almost universally agreeable.

That said, **** me I didn’t see this impact, I didn’t think the squad was capable. I didn’t think every single player could grow visibly just like that.

I then look at his record at Bristol City, and how close he had them if he’d been allowed to keep his players, and I think he could take us up again, not suggesting next season I think we be at least 2 years to compete.

He’s done a job way beyond what I thought he could. We been flying so long it’s easy to forget how absolutely gone we were before he arrived. It wasn’t there, it wasn’t happening, we were ****ed.

The turnaround is almost fantasy island ****.

Wolfy: "Got a horrible feeling about this one. Winchester needs to start though, we are a much better side with him in it." Accrington.

Wolfy: "Got a horrible feeling about this one today. Hope Jones gets a start over O’Brien today mind." Crewe

Wolfy: "Wyke can literally **** off after that utter **** show as well, horrific player." Plymouth

Wolfy: "Not a chance we are going up this season. We are utterly pathetic at home."

Wolfy: "Absolutely shocking keeper. He never looks comfortable with crosses, he makes hard work of the easiest saves and his kicking is pathetic. "

Wolfy: "The defence other than McFadzean have all done well. Other than that, it’s pretty obvious why we aren’t getting promoted isn’t it."

Saff: "Wolfy, is there any players you won't be blaming if we fail to get promotion?"

Yep it is a kind of strange scenario, something I can't remember ever happening before really. We have a seriously strong squad for this league with players who when everyone is fit may not even make the bench. That has got to be a big positive and why I'm really confident that we'll go up automatic - maybe even as champions! Our first choice defence at the start of the season has been ripped out, we have a center midfielder playing center half with another playing right back at times and it hasn't affected us one bit! We're keeping clean sheets and not only that keeping the opposition really at arms length as some haven't even had a shot on target! We're going into the business end of the season full of confidence, and every time LJ makes a change it makes a difference. Other teams must not look forward to playing us the way things stand

Just want to say a big well done to Vokins tonight as he’s been slated a lot by our fans. Great game tonight and definitely a better player than McFadzean.

I appreciate your delicious irony mate ...

... despite not being able to meet up with lads like you it's been glorious.

The destruction of Lincoln would really put the cap on it.

Can't recall one this season that's why I thought numbers must be adding up as the Refs in this league seem to enjoy giving our lads cards.

Thread by Wolfy, Jan 31, 2021 about Burge.

"Absolutely shocking keeper. He never looks comfortable with crosses, he makes hard work of the easiest saves and his kicking is pathetic.

If we had big Jon in goal yesterday we would have won. He will be the difference between us staying down and going up this year imo. We desperately need someone in before the window closes, hopefully LJ realises this."

    Two weeks later ....

"Bet all the Burge haters are absolutely fuming now. Credit to us lads who stuck by him all along."

Not half! There's a real feeling of something positive about the club at the moment, isn't there? Can't wait to get to a live game again...!

I don't want to join the pile in but I do like the irony that even on your post where you're being positive about a player that others have slated, you've found a way to end it on a negative about another one of our players :D
