.It is a good thing that Fergie has no more issue with the press, so we can expect him to answer some questions after the game on Saturdy. Press to Kenny first. Why do you think you dominated the game that much and scored only two goals.? Reply by Kenny:We created so many chances, but they defended very well:the most important thing is that we took all the points. Press to Fergie.Your players played well but unable to score at Anfield, what happened.? Fergie reply:The referee ruined the game, and two clear penalties were not given. The referee was just a yard away from the first hand ball, and the second one was a bad....bad..bad tackle.
See my earlier post, we are way to overconfidant about this game. You lot are making me really nervous.
"Fergie reply:The referee ruined the game, and two clear penalties were not given. The referee was just a yard away from the first hand ball, and the second one was a bad....bad..bad tackle." ADDENDUM "He could have broken the lads toenail"
It's not over-confidence, Both sides and their supporters know that this will be a very tight match. At this point it's like an old fashioned battle with both armies facing each other before the battle begins. We are all showing no fear in front of the enemy.
I hope we win I'm crapping myself now, worried about karma and all the Utd gloating. Sure we can get a win but really nervous.
But admitting that is like being at an 'edgey' party and walking round saying "I'm really frightened" - that's like having a neon sign on your head saying HIT ME
That's what I'm like I just want Saturday to come so that I can watch the game I hate all the build up to this game. I'm ok usually but not this one.
"Sir Alex what would you say is the main reason for Utd's defeat today?" "Are you bloody blind?,Its plain to see Nani is still suffering from the horrific tackle and the gruesome scratch bestowed on him by Carragher last season."
Luv. They'll be bigging their chances up as well. Make no mistake, everyone's nervous. That's the way it is with us and them. As I said somewhere, there's a slim chance I may have a ticket. I'd much rather be on the Kop than sitting in a pub watching it. It will really drag to Saturday morning, becoming increasingly unbearable. We MUST get the win.
"On a different point Sir Alex do you realise just how hard it is to conduct an interview through a locked toilet door?" "Ahve got ra wild ****es,ma solicitor kin vouch for that son"
I hear all toilet doors have had locks removed just in case but the sewer covers have been lifted just in case he does want to crawl back where he came fr....... ok ok I admit it I'm just having a go I don't really mena it etc etc... in other words its only a joke!
Funny you should say that mate - if it was me I wouldn't even have a bloody TV, but it's the mrs who wanted the full on XL package, films, sports, HD etc The only concession was that we've got the Virgin package, so we're not buying directly from Sky
I'll be in the pub- I need a few scoops to get me through it. More fun celebrating afterwards if we win, deadens the pain if we don't.
Look we're not going to beat them and you can quote me on that....we're going to destroy them. They are going to be bounced back to the theatre of debt with their tail between their legs. Lose and lose royally is what they are going to do.
We may lose. How seeming as we are so poor ( as you keep pointing out ), do you think you will finish above us this year ?
It could happen. You have to remember that United do not even figure in our taregts for this season - as far as we are concerned you are a non-entity. But get in our way - like at the weekend - and our task will be to destroy you.
Exactly. Its not our cup final, its 3 points, however they are the enemy, and the enemy deserves no mercy and must be destroyed.
