Yeah, although it depends on how the other teams do of course. It's quite fun to change between the different leagues and number of matches. For instance, the only team, WORLDWIDE for all first to third tiers in leagues to have accumulated more points than us this season is Rangers and only Rangers and Red Star Belgrade have won more matches (though admittedly we have played the most matches - plenty have higher points per game than us - but that shows how intense the Championship is). That might seem like a weak thing of passing interest, but let's face it I think most people look at the Scottish league and think it's very weak for competition, it's always Rangers or Celtic, so no surprises there. Similarly the Serbian league is pretty wrapped up, with only the two Belgrade teams giving meaningful competition. The same cannot be said about the Championship and so that shows we have been extraordinarily dominant across an entire season, as well as being in red hot form right now.
Good job Tod wasn't called up for England action as the only first 11 players staying home are Buendia Gibson and our number 10 . We may have to make a few changes for Preston.
Forest without Joe Lolley tonight through injury, always think he looks dangerous. Joe Worrall, often captain and CB, is also out. Arter is also a doubt.
Hughton, probably. He's a very good manager, as long as you don't expect your team to do anything positive. This game is going to test everyone's patience.
1. The Hootun effect 2. The Florists always give us a tough game. Aside from the 5-1 thrashing we gave them a few seasons back when Howson scored his worldie it’s always been a challenging and tight tussle against them.
Mrs Buendia apparently expecting a child soon. Interesting decision to go with Rupp and Dowell. Good opportunity for Dowell, I'm pleased he's starting, but would have expected Vrancic or Hernandez, players more settled in our attacking trio, to take the third spot.
Very bad news. One thing you need against a Hughton side is a creative player who can produce the unexpected.
Emi's tracking back and defensive covering has been outstanding this season. Maybe DF sees Rupp as the more reliable option in that respect, compared to Mario or Onel.
