You're right Tunns...I do sound like the angry one...out of the two of us, I mean. hehheh. Always a pleasure guys! (Bit easy RHC. Just finding mi stride).
ooooh scary! muaaaam a scary mouthy mickey thinks he's a cyber space smart-arse .... what shall I do?
And I've come to the conclusion that Spevin Casey is a ****ing stupid ****. It wasn't that difficult.
Most profligate player perhaps. I can only think of Torres who has consistently missed more presentable chances in the last ten months He may have "run rings" around the Stoke defence. But I was referring to the "someone will finish the chances" comment. As the Stoke game showed (and the games against Wigan, West Ham, West Brom, Spurs and Villa last year) you don't really have anyone to finish the chances with any sort of consistency. Your two main strikers have a grand total of 13 goals in 39 games for the club. Not bad for £60 million.
Now then did i see Rooney also miss a penalty? Did I also see Giggs miss a matchwinning opportunity in the Stoke match? Have we not also seen chichpea not be able to sort his feet out? Not bad for almost £500m per month!
You may well have seen those dave. Tho' I'm not sure where you pulled £500 million a month from! But isolated incidents by Utd players hardly compare with the systematic profligacy Suarez has thus far shown for Liverpool. Not only was there the crucial missed penalty and two or three very presentable chances at Stoke, but Suarez was one of the most profligate strikers in the PL last season. 47 shots for just four goals compares pretty poorly with almost all other players in the PL. I think only Cameron Jerome and Nenad Milijas did worse over the course of the season, but let me know if you find anyone who needed more chances than that. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rankings/4949054/Premier-League-Statistics.html
Your struggling man! Suarez has been no more profligate than any United forward. You know he can rip your defence apart what you don't know is when during the game he'll do it!
The few goals he has scored for the number of chances he has had say otherwise. Hernandez alone scored more than twice as many goals with fewer chances last season. He's getting less profligate this season, but still not scoring at the rate a top class striker should, and making some bad misses at crucial moments. You may know that he can rip defences apart. But no one knows which matches he will do it in, and whether the end result will be a spectacular goal or a spectacular scuff.
You could say the same for Rooney but somehow he goes missing when he plays us. As for Chickpea - last season was last season he's already showing second seasonitis!
How could you say the same for Rooney? Nine goals in six games mate! And when he doesn't score it's generally not cos he's wasting the chances, it's cos he's dropping so deep he isn't getting on the end of them. Anyway Rooney's not a rip the defence apart single handed kind of player, he's more someone who will play a pivotal role in a team effort to rip the defence apart if you get what I'm saying. Chicharito is struggling a wee bit at the moment, but that's probably more to do with lingering after effects of a concussion in a bloke who's been having migraines since the age of six.
Migraines are srs bsns. I get them quite often, it involves massive head pain, then i vomit for about 4 hours, then I become extremely light/sound sensitive. If you don't get them consider yourself lucky. Chicharito didn't really kick of his season last year until mid October so we have nothing to worry about. I think the lack of a steady CM partnership is affecting our team, when We had Cleverly/Ando playing together for a few games we were playing really well, but since then we haven't been consistent in our CM pairings.
Vidic's recent history at Anfield is piss poor so why are you so smiley? please log in to view this image
If you want to defend Rooney's record in this match then you would be hard put to find any significant contribution. He goes missing and you know it. As for Chickpea, are you serious? It's far more likely that he's suffering second season syndrome than any lasting effects from concussion. We won't have to wait much longer to find out which player will have the most significant impact on the game.
