Every school in Hull and the East Riding with confirmed coronavirus cases since March 8 return - Hull Live (hulldailymail.co.uk)

Year groups shutting at one school but not another ? ... what is the guidance on year bubbles etc ... either way at least they are catching cases individually and isolating them , imagine this in september , these cases would have more than likely gone through the gaps so to speak and thats why things started exploding case wise as this would have passed onto parents of friends etc etc

Very good read I must admit , and just shows how unique this last year has been to everyone , including those in charge and how ill prepared everyone has been for what has happened ... I am not going to go into politics as such , but I believe no matter who was in charge at that time , mistakes would have been made

Yep. Also heard on radio today that Hedon Rd nick had an outbreak of 147 inmates and staff. Not sure if this was part of various daily figures.

Considering hull has had approx 450 in the last week , Im sure that 147 counts for a decent chunk of it , plus an outbreak at a care home I believe

Gives an explanation of 'the (out) break' of numbers and 'snookered' our recovery figures

I had my jab 10 days ago tomorrow. I've been really careful in avoiding being infected with covid. Saturday morning because someone at work tested positive I to went for a test and it turned out ****ing positive. It's been downhill ever since. Bloody coughing till I saw stars and nearly blacked out. I've worked all the way through this longer hours than ever.

Stay safe lads and lasses, this ain't over yet. Not by a long way. X

I’ve been saying to anyone who listens (not many tbh) for weeks that when case rates are low you can’t just look at the numbers by a large area, you have to drill down to smaller areas. For the past 2-3 weeks Hull’s number has remained level while most places have dropped, but a large proportion of that is in the docks (and prison) area ... prisons and factories are the breeding ground for now, not community transmission

The prison outbreak will have had a big impact on the figures for Hull. It was only a few weeks ago that South Cave shot up to the to of the table with a number of cases arising in the prison at Everthorpe.

Is it possible the test detected your vaccine? I don’t know if it can work like that - simply asking.

Not really because I feel absolutely crap atm. As far as I know the vaccine doesn't have any covid to detect.

    Cheers though.
