Just not suited to the defensive football employed by Bruce or Benitez. An attacking team/methodology will see him using that endless energy in better areas. Not that complicated and pretty obvious if you actually watch our games. Saint Maximin is the same. Very little goals or assists, but talent is obvious. Wilson again is the same too, he'd be better than one in two in an attacking team. Playing in attacking roles for Newcastle under Benitez or Bruce is thankless.
Playing attacking football with **** players gets you relegated, but so dies bruceball. Counter attacking isn't one or the other it's just a style the average idiot can't decipher from attacking or bruceball
This old chestnut, its just garbage. Plenty teams with not particularly good players play attacking football and stay up. Leeds are currently sat in 12th 10 points clear of relegation, with a fairly average set of players. They were told by all and sundry that with their players, playing the way they do having just come up, they'll go down. They attack balls deep and have got their rewards which just renders that whole assertion as horseshit. Many ways to skin the cat.

Even if that was the case, and I don’t think it is I would rather play attacking football anyway. Think though you would see a lot more players start to actually improve due the fact that they are allowed to go out and play the way they want to. Certainly it would give our better players a boost as they would be seeing more of the ball.
As a neutral if you had to select a team that you least liked to watch in the PL we would be the top choice, probably followed by Burnley, then Crystal Palace. I am just glad we are on at times here that I can use the excuse of needing to sleep.
