Nick Pope should be the target as Hugo's replacement.
But ManUre are sniffing around and probably would be the lads first choice if only geographically.

Bit of a risk for him to go to Utd, I'd have thought. Henderson could **** off if they sign him, though.

If PSG do come in for Lloris this summer, then taking Areola as part-exchange might not be a bad call.
He's done well for Fulham, for the most part and he's at that age where he should be peaking and playing every week.
Would allow us to spend money elsewhere, which we clearly need to do.

I like Nick Pope but I don't see him as much (if at all) of an upgrade on Lloris and even if he was, he's also not a long term option either I'd say. He'll be 30 in about a month, would cost at least £35m-£40m and so I'm just not sure it represents a good deal, we won't have sell on value nor are we necessarily getting much of an upgrade on this version of Lloris, who by all accounts is still a decent keeper, just not an elite keeper any more.

HBIC has mentioned Strakosha a few times and he was someone I mentioned about a year ago as to being a good option, I think he'd be the smarter signing. 26 in a few days, will probably be cheaper, like Lloris he's got cat-like reflexes and he's also better with the ball at his feet than both Lloris and Pope. His main downside from the little I've seen would be that he's a bit too keen on parrying/ palming the ball when it would be smarter to catch it, something that could easily be coached out of him I think.

That said, if there's any chance Jose could use his power in the game to convince Donnarumma not to sign a new deal and that Tottenham is far more glamorous than Milan, then that would be the dream signing.

Raiola client. Mourinho and him are not on the best of terms! <laugh>
He'll be off to one of the big money clubs, I think.

Lots of talk of us being in for Dybala again. Reports saying us or Chelsea. I wonder if he'll choose us or the Champions League qualified, huge spenders. Difficult one.

Is he even that good? Couple of mates I have who support Juve tell me he is insanely talented but has a tendency to drift in and out of games and look disinterested. So I guess he'll fit in well here <laugh>

What trophies have Monster Energy Dusseldorf won that enabled them to sign Timo Werner, Dani Olmo et al?

He'd probably be a better right back than Doherty though...

Mourinho believes in Doherty...it's why we got rid of KWP and why Tanganga isn't getting any football.

    Yaaaay!

Anyone in our academy who's right footed should be annoyed at this point.

In fact, anyone left footed should be too.

I'll give Jose leniency on KWP as Poch ****ed the lad over there.

But Tanganga's exclusion is beyond ridiculous.

Doherty is proof you should never sign players from Wish.com

I'm livid... I'm a left footed, 31 year old, beer keg belly lump who starts sweating after lifting a pint yet I can absolutely play better than Matt Doherty.
