Like previous years, you just know that all bar one will win and the one which lets you down will be 20 lengths clear approaching the last and falls/stumbles. I wonder who it is this year???

Reverse fc. 3:05 - Epatante (have it in various ante post multiples. Haven't backed in a single yet but if price keeps going out i'm lumping on). Abacadabras 6/1 ante post (thats what you get for listening to Nass). Reverse fc. 3:40 - Concertista (again in various multiples and ante post at 11/4) 4:15 - Coltor 10/1 & Elham Valley 66/1 (both 5 places). Captain Guinness in the Arkle for me. Would likely have won the supreme last year but for Asterion Forlonge playing pinball with half the field and sending a horse across to swoop him out of it. The small field today and fast pace up front will aid his case very much and I'm expecting a massive race to be won, or run I mean. Glorious Zoff @ 33/1 in the Boodles handicap. Won well on hurdling debut before two under par performances in England. No surprise there, wink wink, say no more. Returned with a nice win on the flat at Dundalk and should be primed for a big run here now. Have a good day folks.
1.20 ground seems to have come for Appreciate It my each way bet in the race is Soaring Glory who is a decent bet now at 11/1. very impressive win at Newbury last month 1.55 I can't oppose Shiskin after ignoring him in the Supreme last year. 2.30 Very good favourite in Happygolucky. However I just feel the price is too short in a race like this. Festival form is all important so will go with Milan Native 3.05 HONEYSUCKLE for me with the soft ground favouring her over Epatante. With money already down I will have a small saver on Goshen as well. A mention too for Sharjah who I always thought was a good each way bet in this. 3.40 Surely not all of the short priced favourites can win and in this I think Roksana has an outstanding chance to beat Concertista in what could be a really top class race. The only concern is the distance as her good form this season has been over longer 4.15 There was only a neck between the favourite Houx Gris and 11/1 shot Homme Public. I will have an each way bet on the latter 4.50 The inclusion of Next Destination has added some intrigue to this race but I think Galvin has been laid out for this race and will take all the beating

£10 Blue Lord at 11s as it is a freebie with skybet, Appreciate It I cant see getting beat though. Captain Guinness just for the value v Shishkin. Also a doubt over the Hendo horses as two have scoped bad yesterday. Happygolucky if i am lucky. Epatante she is proven so that will do for me, killing me not backing Goshen though. Honeysuckle I dont feel can beat these. Rocksana, i am not worried about the trip as she will come up the hill and do the fav. Houx Gris fancied this one since his last run to notch here. Split between Snow Leopardess and Next Destination in the last. If the times are slow then the Nichols fav shoupd out stay them all.
Been a while, finally got round to re-setting my password A couple for me today 1.20 Soaring Glory (EW) Impressed me when winning the Betfair Hurdle last month 4.15 Homme Public (EW) Was only a neck behind Houx Gris in a hurdle race in France and at 12/1 (6 places) offers a bit of value.
Morning all.... Conditions are very much in favour for Appreciate it so I fully expect him to win the opener. Not a punting proposition for me Shishkin so happy to watch that race and hopefully enjoy a superb round of jumping from him. Done the following today: 2.30pm One for the Team 10/1 each way 4 places 3.05pm Honeysuckle 6/4 win. Looks as if she is getting better and the softer going will help further. Also nearly forgot but I have my only ante post bet on Saldier each way. 3.40pm Roksana 3/1 win. Been impressed with her all season and I think the rain had aided her chances 4.50pm Remastered 7/1 each way 4 places. A test of stamina will suit this fella who looks like he could gallop all day.
