We should have, but he was not picked for some reason. He was apparently going to play in the original fixture before it was re-arranged.

I dont know. But it is worrying that he is not getting any game time. He must be fit by now!!!

I am worried that once Dyche sees a player he sticks with them regardless. I know he dropped loach, but maybe he needs to be bolder and replace Forsyth or Yeates with Prince and Kightly.

 

i trust him...i'm sure Kightly will be on the pitch on Saturday, but i doubt we'll see any other changes...shame really, i'd still like to see Sordell on the bench...

 

I have faith that he will learn from mistakes, i just worry it might take him a while and end up damaging our season.

 

From what I saw in the U21 game, Sordell didn't look like the player we know is in there somewhere. Kightly will almost certainly be involved as I feel sure that is part of the loan deal, and I think he has played with Iwelumo, so maybe that will be tried.

 

i read that he and Iwelumo had quite a few successes together, so hopefully they can repeat it at the Vic (and away!)

Morning all - Dull but mild day so far in West West London. Some better news last night - Scotland failed again and our smelly neighbours managed to throw away a 2 goal lead....

Good to see Hil on here last night - takes you back to the 606 days when we had lots of visitors in The Nest

Cannot wait until Saturday

 

Morning all, looks like a day that will be good for travelling, dry but not too warm. 500 kms from here to Dieppe so 5.5 hours of actual driving.

I really must get into the ways of the locals and not eat crusty bread in the car. Having spent an age cleaning out the inside the other afternoon I could make my efforts worthless with the first bite.

Tonight I will be tucking in to my first pint of real ale, can't quite remember when the last one passed my lips but think it might have been February.

So that is it, the bags are packed ready to go in the car and I have just checked for the tenth time that I have the required e-mail to get the tickets for Saturday. I will be looking out for the waves from the Rookery and am keeping fingers and toes crossed for a good game.
