Mate, I've not once said the Police behaved impeccably, if you read my reply to brb, I said it wasn't good, let alone back them. As someone who has been attending football matches for 50 years, home and away and someone who lived through and had many friends during the miner's strike, I know full well the capabilities of some of our boys in blue. My reply earlier was to say, there were some there to help escalate things if it kicked off, nothing more nothing less, it was others who decided to see more into that and see something that wasn't there.
To be honest I don't buy the "outside agitators" stuff... the old bill use it all the time even when they are totally to blame.
