Because it suited what we were talking about. I shall explain...the place was called "Black Boy Lane" it is being changed to "La Rose Lane". I assumed that John La Rose was white and it would be like Michael Jackson going from Black to White. It seems that the council or whoever that chose the name are smarter than I gave them credit for. La Rose is black. Can't say I have heard of him before. He certainly isn't as famous as Walter Tull and Alfred L. Cralle.
