**** it. I need to lose weight and get fit. Told my lad I'd be doing 5 unassisted pull ups by the time he turns 18 in mid September. This is me now. Target is 13st. A few issues to overcome. I have a dodgy right knee, old football injury that was operated on 20 years ago that has deteriorated over time. Last couple of weeks it feels like a ligament down the outside of the knee is about to snap when I bend it. I've a dodgy lower back, football again. I've a dodgy right elbow, I think I developed tennis elbow from slashing millions of balsam plants last summer. So mainly I'll be on the turbo trainer, rowing machine, exercise bands and walking my dogs. Maybe some weights if my elbow improves. I'm coming up 52 and my joints don't respond well to exercise. I'll post an update every month.
What height are you ? A couple of stone should be pretty achievable, especially given that training routine you've laid out. I'd also combine that with not eating a 4ft tall fish finger scaffold tower.
@Schlem Boogerman , I am with you brother!! I tipped 15st 12lb last week and my immediate target is 15st, that's my excess, about a stone. I'm unlikely to get below 15, I'm too big for that and also too old to 'shred' or whatever it's called, the urge to have a beer or some nice wine is too strong for that. Need to up my runs to three a week, sort my diet out, and golf course are now back open so that will help (believe it or not, the eight mile up and down walk every week is very good exercise). Need to skip or something as well but haven't really been that arsed to get out int he garden in freezing cold rain, will look for some decent weather to get on with that.
Intermittent fasting.... You'll lose weight and keep muscle.. It increases hgh and your body will learn to use fat as an energy source.
Do all the exercise you want bro, you won’t out-train that slop you post on the dinner thread. No offence like, but set your stall out in your kitchen if your target is to lose weight. And Good Luck
Do you do that carb cycling thing at all ? I'm really active, so I can burn the carbs off, but I'd still like to drop a few KG. Was looking at some geezer's video where he was talking about no/low/high carb days combined with 15min HIT sessions.
Yep. I’m 6 foot 4 and average out at about 16 and a half usually. A good stone of that is my penis though, to be fair. The lads call me Jimmy Bollard
