It is a bit harsh to criticise Sir Kier for having a go at the polis mind. He is only being consistent. He is on public record, ( In another life of course, when he could say what he meant) as having questioned the need for their role in society at all.
The wife and I have our jabs booked for 10.51 on Wednesday at our GP health centre. No advice about avoiding alcohol but were told we had to wait an additional 15 minutes before driving. Perhaps we should just wander around to the off-licence and get a couple of drinks to celebrate St Patrick's day before we drive home?!
Not in comparison to bungling Boris he is not. The government have also criticised the police by the way.
Happy to say I have my jab booked tomorrow. Got letter to book at vaccination centre. Tried for days, no joy, then got text from docs, booked in for 3 days later no problem. So, if you have problems getting a slot at vaccination centre, don’t worry. GP will also get in touch and, in my experience, much easier & quicker
It certainly no bastard holiday. I'm ****ing aching all owa. I've been up since 3 am I thought my body was going to self combust.
Got mine on Saturday morning ( AstraZeneca) had a splitting headache on Saturday night and felt totally knackered, had aches and pains and nasal congestion yesterday. Obviously I went to bed pissed last night, woke up this morning feeling fine, only got mild hangover symptoms now. I tried booking mine by phone which was unsuccessful, did it online instead with no problems, had it at the Arnison centre, it was extremely well organised and a smooth operation, very thankful I've had a little prick now.
You'll be fine by tomorrow night at the latest mate. I was feeling rough yesterday, luckily a mixture of the beer kicking in with euphoria sorted me yesterday.
