These 'athiests' are not in fact athiests. They are anti-gods. Usually from a christian background, even more specifically catholic

How can someone that has no knowledge, and i mean proper knowledge (good and bad) about ALL religions claim that religion is wrong?

I can claim certain religions/beliefs are wrong. But how can I (based on the belief/religion I was born into) base all my 'beliefs' on all religions on that alone?

Atheism has only one shared requirement.
That's the lack of belief in any god.

Trying to generalise atheists and suggest that atheism is a religion is a theistic attempt to level the playing field.
Religions have tenets and articles of faith.
    Atheism doesn't.
Religions have a set of beliefs.
    Atheism doesn't.

Incorrect. A belief does not just have 'religious' connotations
    Democracy/capitalism/globalism/marxism can be beliefs

athiests try to remove the word belief, but there is no avoiding it. Athiests have a shared belief and there tenent or article of faith is 'no god'

athiesm in essence is anti god.

I've shown you that this is both wrong and ridiculous about a million times.
You refuse to accept the truth though, for some reason.
    Why is that?

What does anti-god mean, if you don't accept that a god exists?

Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist. Atheism is contrasted with theism, which in its most general form is the belief that at least one deity exists. <ok>

You have not shown anything. Yoiu have made assertions. I dont accept your assertions.
If you look at the definitions of what constitutes 'belief' then athiesm fits most

I dont believe you have enough knowledge of all religions to conclude that they dont exist
Yet you argue against God. Making you anti god

True athiests would not be arguing about religion

anyway off for fish and chips

athiesm as a concept is fine and well

but most athiests are just lunatics who like to rave and rant about a god they believe doesnt exist

No, it clearly doesn't and several people have explained why it doesn't.

Nobody claims to know all religions.
The religious claims that I'm aware of don't hold up to scrutiny, so I reject them.
That makes me an atheist, whether you like it or not.

    Baseless claim.
    Why not?

IMHO.Religion doesn't cause problems (each to their own) it's certain '****s' who preach it.

Love your god (if you so desire) and love your neighbour.

    Sounds good to me. <ok>
