I've not had a drink yet but I can see myself getting a bit emotional later on when I have and it's sunk in a bit more. Not just winning the trophy but what the future holds for our club and how winning it is such a powerful symbol of the change taking place.

Nearly made myself tear up whistling WMS to myself so it's not looking good for dry eyes later.
Just opened the Malbec - tastes lovely <cheers>

so proud of these lads tonight, with a ramshackle defence and some great team players sitting on the sidelines we've managed to win a trophy at wembley, and given our squad a little taste of success, and what could be in the future. No better incentive for those lads coming back to fitness, especially at this most crucial time in our promotion run-in. LJ couldn't have timed it better, I must admit my best bet was to scrape the playoffs a little while back, but now I think we'll be competing for top 2 til the last game.

I bet it does mate, I've got a bottle of red some cans and a good measure of whisky waiting for me, so I don't think I'll be going for a run first thing in the morning.

Not that I ever do like but definitely not tomorrow <cheers>
White wine and a bottle of the Kraken for me. Nee work tomorrow :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

Was always interested in the debate about whether to take this competition seriously. Think I know the answer now, buzzing man first time I’ve seen Sunderland lift a trophy in my life

Simples if you win it...its great
If you lose... its a bit of fun

Just checking in. Thought we were second best at times today who ****ing cares. Great piece of play to win it.

Finally got rid of the Wembley hoodoo.

Now let’s go on and get promotion!!

I'd take all competitions seriously no matter what. We aren't one of the top 6 with the luxury to rest 8 and still beat another Prem team. Our best chance of silverware is this or the league cup. Promotion is number one atm but we should have the 'win every game mentality' right through the club to the u7s.
