The team should be aiming to win every match now, simple as that. Failing this just getting as many points as possible from the remaining games. Minimum expectation is that we take care of our own business. We really haven't been doing that. Will we be able to go on a run, will we get top 4? imo hell no! But at least if those are the aims we'll be there or thereabouts should any of the others screw it up from here to May. For me the EL is the best we can get this season now and even that's a stretch, short of winning the CL. I actually think it's possible for us to win the CL and of course the aim there should be to win it. But then you're into potentially prioritising which is a dangerous business. The problem is we've now got a lot of pressure on two fronts, to win these matches in the PL and perhaps salvage an atrocious season with a big prize in the CL. Personally, and on the evidence of 2/3rds 3/4ers of the season or whatever, I think they'll neutralise each other and we'll end up with nothing.

 

Brighton win so now overtake Newcastle who are bloody awful.

Only 3 points gap so I don't know what's next but they will need to win 3 or 4 more to be sure

How many times do you see a player get tackled after taking a shot and it’s just an accepted part of the game and is never given as a pen.

now I don’t agree with that, and if they start giving pens for it then I’m all for it as anywhere else on the pitch they’d give a foul. But reckon 1 in every 50 of those are given so would love to find out why that one was compared to all the others you see
