Sean’s not signed the contract offer has he and his contract is out next summer. We will lose him for free which will sting. That 40m-50m rumour would make you want to cry if you thought it would have been reinvested. I don’t know what to make of him. Unfortunately I think he’s like Tiote, one great season. And Longstaffs was only 15 games. Whether it was that injury or the current coaching, he’s gone back hard.
Is there any truth in the Inter Milan crap? The Saudis are formally paving the way to take over Inter Milan. No owners are going to go into European competition with two clubs. Steve Bruce, whatever you think of him but for ‘the upcoming takeover’, he would have been sacked. A couple of million to save £150m still seems viable to me, takeover or not.
