Just leave them alone, they would have gone home eventually. Yes it's unlawful, I'm sure there are lots of crimes throughout the UK tonight that could have been policed, if resources were better used. Some young women gathering around a circle of flowers, with candles on a ****ty wet and miserable night, is not exactly crime of the century. Hopefully all their grandma's have had their jabs by now.

I don’t think breaking the lockdown, outdoors, justifies that reaction. Especially not when it’s women holding a vigil for a woman murdered and the person charged is a copper.

 

The officer in charge of policing that situation is a tone deaf moron.
