To be fair, banter hurts a lot more when you're having a hard time. We should know. We had enough of it with our two relegations and the six in a row in the derbies. That's why I stopped posting on their board. It didn't seem right kicking them when they were down - but then again, I know I'm a soft ****e

It's a weird one. I didn't want them to get relegated but I laughed when they did. I don't think I've ever taken the piss out of them for being in League One, but I'll gladly take the piss about the fact they went there once they're back on the same level as us (which could well be next season). I hate them finishing above us but would prefer them to finish just below us rather than miles below. The rivalry is better when we're both doing well.

 

I hope the scummy bastards end up in oblivion and get relegated from there as well.

 

I can vouch that posts are altered on the Sunderland board by either a Mod or an ex Mod who still has the Mod powers as it has happened to me on a number of occasions in the past. Whoever’s doing it needs to get a life.

 

This is true. The only board I’m aware of where people have been banned in case they may go on and wum. It’s their choice how they police it thought at the end of the day. The irony is one or two fantasists over there actually think this board is over moderated. That’s like George Best criticising a bloke in a pub for having a pint
