    The whole thing was they didn't want NI to be treated any differently than the rest of the UK and also they didn't want a hard border, no way was it ever going to be possible to get both of those things. It was always going to be one or the other and if it was going to be a hard border then that would be a lot of snipers coming out of retirement.

    Maybe they, like me, dont like the present situation but it will be sorted out in a few years.

    Yes but they knew NI would be treated different, they gambled on the border being in Ireland and lost.

    Nope, the IRA drove a lorry bomb into the financial district of London and caused a billion pound worth of damage. It was Britain wanted peace after that.

    Didn't the Security forces trap one of the main IRA leaders in honey trap in a young boys brothel, so he acted as an inside informer?
