They’re winning the pressing game at the moment. Forcing us long, whereas they’re just a bit classier on the ball and able to play out through us.

 

The difference in quality of player is obvious but that considered, we're doing ok

 

We don't seem to be getting anything off the ref, yet everytime one of theirs goes down, he blows.

Thank God that was over We need to play a hell of a lot better in the second half. And get Dallas and Roberts the hell away from the center of the pitch

 

Not a bad first half effort considering who we are playing. Dallas is in the middle for his defensive qualities

 

This is what the very top sides can do. Press like us, work as hard as us - then they outplay us because they have better players. Let’s hope they can’t keep it up or it’s a long 45 mins we’re in for.

 

They're a quality team, they move the ball well, that's what £500m gets you, anyone who thinks we're on an even keel, needs a rethink.

 

Thought the pitch would be a lot worse than it is. No one slipping every two minutes so its holding up surprisingly well.
