I am bringing my grandson who also has never been to a football match, so we really do need to impress him so he gets to follow the right team for the rest of his days. His father is bringing him up from Gloucester, so I don't want him bleating on about the Horns not being as good as Man U. Typically never been to see them. Mme will also be there to make sure that I don't get into trouble. ;(

    Morning all.
Thanks for answering Ak's question on Welsh rugby, Leo. In addition Wales has a population of about 3 million compared to NZ's 4 million so they are fairly equal. From people I have spoken to, the general feeling is that Wales have played the best so far. Most people seem to think that NZ will win the cup but there is more than a touch of arogance re rugby here. I think the All Blacks will bottle it. The pressure will be too intense especially if they get to the final where they would be expected to win against 'lesser' Northern hemisphere opposition.

Shame for Richie McCaw who is a nice bloke, even for a human being as opposed to just a rugby player. I've met him a few times as he went to my university.

I am not knocking the flags Dan, there were lots of them about for the coronation of the Queen.

France is a nation of flags. EU, National and regional can be seen everywhere.

Someone must make lots of money making them. ;)

no, it'll be with my hand..you probably won't notice it, but i'll feel better for doing it ;).

Though, i'm very near TYO and the flags, so you might find it gets hidden in the hullabaloo!
