I don't know how I would react if they swore at me. They've never done it. Even with my grandchild now, I just believe in speaking in a calm, concise manner, especially at such a young age when they are learning and still building their understanding as well has vocabulary. Even when I offer treats, I do it in such a way, that there is a selection between two items to have. Just to build an understanding that choices and selections have to be made in life. Also the concept of sharing. But that's just me.
