    Perhaps drank it to the extreme at one time, to a point of overload, but rediscovered it again , nice and smooth, definitely a food wine.

    Yeh remember it being very smooth.

    Seems I only drink French & Italian reds these days, which is why the Rioja has been ignored for so long.

    Not a fan to be honest...gives me heartburn, so don't touch the stuff.

    Same with cheap champagne.

    Better to spend a few quid and drink less in my opinion <ok>

    wines is not alcohol, paras are brought up on pils and whisky, wine is for the more refined taste, like all politicians like especially those with a penchant for the younger connoisseur
