Yup, I still can't see that meaning her having played any part in it. I'm not aware of any charges against her. I expect bail is just in case they do find any evidence to tie her with assisting in the murder. At worst it was assisting an offender, which as she I assume is his wife or partner, could make her that anyway, depending on what she did or didn't know.
I could be wrong, but that seems like a rare charge under these circumstances, though a lot of these nutters live alone. I'll be surprised if she's not involved in some fashion, even if it's just providing a false alibi or lying about something relatively minor. Not a Rose West or anything, though.

She’s not been charged with anything. My guess would be he’s used her car at some point, or it’s as simple as her offering a false alibi at the start when likely unaware of the detail of the crime, so she’s been hauled in for questioning. Sounds like he’s determined to do away with himself btw, when they’re that determined they usually find a way.
Can't say that I blame him. Even if he hasn't done anything, which seems incredibly unlikely, he's absolutely ****ed.
Like that poor fella that went away for the Clapham Common murder and it wasn't him, watched a doc on him after release and his life's ****ed cos of that.
Exactly my logic of thought, she as a partner just offered a false alibi until she became aware of the severity of what's occurred.
At the risk of sounding like a complete hypocrite, as innocent until proven guilty is the key tenet of our justice system. Innocent men don’t generally try and top themselves before actually being charged and having the opportunity to defend their innocence.

Cant remember tbh mate but it was a huge national case, the blonde girl murdered in front of her young baby boy. Hes says in the doc he still gets murderer screamed at him in the street. Like 8 years after being cleared. Deep
Colin Stagg for the Rachel Nickell murder? Never convicted, but spent 14 months locked up anyway. Turned out it was a paranoid schizophrenic who went on to kill another woman and her young daughter. They were too busy trying to honeypot Stagg to find the ****.

Yeah, but he's also a policeman who faces a lot of time in cells, regardless of whether he did it or not. Don't get me wrong, I think it's incredibly unlikely that he's innocent, but he's got to think that someone's going to try and **** him up every day. He may also be trying to set up some sort of mental health defence or push for preferable treatment behind bars. There's no way that he'll be put in with the normal prisoners and he won't fancy spending decades with the nonces.
