The stupidity of the media mate. Women have been highlighting and trying to get themselves listened to, then the media report on this. I can't believe the media don't realise this undermines the whole argument, and I'd have to ask is someone within the media trying to undermine the debate. As for the person that said it, I suggest they go away and reconsider their words more carefully, because as you have highlighted, it will treat the whole affair as nothing more than a joke. One step forward, two back.
The IOPC are investigating how the Met dealt with a report of a man exposing himself in Marcie D’s 3 days before the poor woman was abducted. You’d have thought there’d be ample CCTV evidence of that, so it remains to be seen whether they did actually identify him before the point the of her disappearance, or whether the report was put on the ‘when we get round to it’ pile - of which there a ****ing many up and down the Nation, due to the severe lack of detectives, post the Tory austerity cuts.
I’ll often have to threaten to get my knob out when they lie about the McFlurry machine being broken.
I think you’ve just inadvertently answered the question. Sarge, got a report in of a man getting his cock out in Maccie D’s. Lob it on the pile over there lad.
They nicked him on Tuesday, and still no charge. They’ll have to charge him or release him either today or tomorrow, dependant on when the maximum 96 hour custody limit is reached.
Might work to do your own McFlurry I guess ... but would stop short of being a general short term fix for the restaurant on health and safety rules ...
Ahh but they can now also nick him for being so drunk that he fell over in his cell several times causing personal injury to his noggin ... that should extend it ...
Up and working since 8 mate ... it's Friday so looking to knock off early .. just finishing my cereal... a mix of Curiously Cinnamon and Lucky Charms... (I get the Dad job of finishing off anything languishing in the cereal cupboard) ... bit sweet for my tastes, but passable
Vigil v Lockdown. https://news.sky.com/story/police-f...-for-sarah-everard-would-be-unlawful-12243316
Coming up for 12 months now ... been in twice during that time (once to the office and once to a law firm premises) ... our offices are close to Kings Cross / St Pancras and the mandate is still everyone stay at home unless it's business critical to go in ... and, if you have to go in, you need to register that you are coming in advance ... surreal.
There have been bonuses - have got to see much more of my girls with the school and Uni closures and we also go for a dog walk (ranges between 4 to 10 miles) just about every day ... top of the hill we live in has a bridle path which means we can walk out into the country... Also, living with somebody considered highly vulnerable (missus got no spleen so compromised immune system) means I take it all very seriously and any risk to her outweighs any personal freedoms, frustrations etc ... One of my team lost her dad to it in January and that really brings it home ...
