    It is embarrassing though that's what I feel about it.. I cringe for you... Its like watching a man crying in public about his girlfriend leaving him... You're like just stop ffs you're embarrassing yourself

    If you think it's embarrassing that I'm enjoying a bit of a resurgence after what we've been through then I'm not sure you understand what being a fan is all about, to be honest. I'm certainly not trying to explain it to you. You must be a right laugh on match days...

    I would compare it to this.....

    Mr Sunderland goes out to his local dives every weekend. Enjoys himself, more often than not he pulls a bird, a bit rough around the edges, but you would. So every other week he pulls a lass in the pub, buys her a few drinks, a kebab, goes back to his house, shags. Had a canny weekend, looks forward to next weeks antics, no doubt shagging again.
    Mr Newcastle goes to the posher places, often gets talking to an absolute stunner, wines and dines her, costs a fortune, takes her back to her place, gets a peck on the cheek goodnight, leaving him standing, freezing, on the door step. Mr Newcastle wonders whether he will get a shag next week. At least if he does it will be some gorgeous woman, not the ropey ones Mr Sunderland hangs about with.

    The problem is more that Mr Newcastle is persistently trying to pull Miss Manchester, who's out of his league. Way out of his league. He'd have no problem getting a knee-trembler off Miss Fulham or Miss Sheffield, but sadly Mr Newcastle has delusions of grandeur...

    They were indeed amongst other things.

    Had a mate working out in Milan at the time and we met up for some beers and food. He was telling us the AC/Inter derby had been the previous Sunday and the the home fans had lobbed a moped off the upper stand area into the away fans ....

    btw difficult to argue with your logic. My most enjoyable season in the last 5 years was the championship one. Great away days with loads of cans.
