As usual, I agree with 1For (except for....).

I'd add the walking off set on GMTV was a premeditated act by Piers Morgan.
He will be announced shortly on a new News Programme/Channel so will enjoy the notoriety and national publicity.
Ironic also that he castigated Boris for hiding in a fridge yet when confronted himself by Berresford he did exactly the same, just minced off avoiding a difficult conversation.

Megan will ditch Harry within 5 years, she's on a totally different wave length.

I have read part of it. A lot of assertions, standard Abbott and no surprises. The Royal family is racist. A discussion must be held on racism within the Royal family. The reaction of sections of the UKs media and its populace is a demonstration of racism. These opinions are represented as facts.

She gets treated seriously because of her politics. Its the right on sort. Its an industry and for that industry to exist there needs to be racists everywhere. Abbott has been a leading divisive figure of this progressivism for a long time.

 

There's also a word for all that's going on where freedom of speech is denied or drowned out because it doesn't suit other peoples agenda.

That word Is Communism

 

I watched a bit of the Oprah interview (because Mrs R&W wanted to see it) and MM stated that there had never been any black royals.
This is blatantly untrue.
Philippa of Hainault was the first Black Queen of England. She was married to Edward III
Princess Sophie Charlotte was the second Black Queen of England. She was married to King George III (and is portrayed in the TV series 'Bridgerton' on Netflix, which Mrs R&W is currently binging on)
Meghan obviously doesn't know what she is talking about, but is confident enough to pass lies off as the truth, with an army of like-ignorant followers ready to lap it up. As an American though, she should at least have been aware of how the US city of Charlotte got its name.

 

Not sure how Diane Abacus is ever allowed a voice with anything.. along with Lamby, should be placed on a island somewhere, never to be seen again!!

 

I'm convinced that Diane Abbott is a Tory 'plant', tasked with making the Labour Party unelectable.

To my shame, I used to enjoy watching the late night political chat show, where she and Michael Portillo snuggled up to each other like teenage lovers, despite being polar opposites politically.
That was before I knew about her unpalatable IRA comments and more sinister views.

I saw some of the Oprah interview "Mrs Brizzle" was watching whilst I was reading.
Oprah made no attempts to probe anything at all unless it was just to help substantiate further the alleged wrongdoings. An absolute pale imitation of an interview and just an opportunity for Megan and (less so) Harry to air their views.

On Piers Morgan. Agreed with many on here that the man is a total ass. Generally only ever takes a controversial stance on things just to make a name for himself, however that's not to say he isn't sometimes right.

The thing that really highlighted how impossible it is for anyone to disagree with the poor, belittled, put upon Duchess was when Piers Morgan pointed out that the lack of a title being bestowed upon Archie being due to his race/skin colour was FACTUALLY incorrect due to the way the rules work.... both Alex Beresford (who I actually quite like) and Suzannah basically glossed over that and said that if the way it was perceived by the couple made it seem like it could be racist then it was pretty much as good as racist.

I mean WTF? If actual bona fide facts can now be ignored in favour of people's perceptions then the world, all laws and society in general is screwed.

Anyhow, I've had my rant, I'm gonna flounce off now in a Piers Morgan style.... exit stage left.

 

I must point that BrizzleBB is biased as he believes he's actually a member of the Welsh Royal Family - he's worked in Leekes for years.

I believe that in an interview prior to the marriage she did mention that most of her friends had warned her against joining the royal family. She knew exactly what she was getting in to and still went ahead with the wedding despite all of the warnings, so I think crying foul now is a little rich. I watched most of the interview and although I believe some of her claims could be very close to the truth I have my doubts because watching the way the interview was set up it almost looked like Hollywood to me. The royal family are not my favourite subject and the fact that Meghan is claiming that she was severely mistreated by some of the staff brings back memories of Diana who also made similar claims and I don't think for a minute that either of them was lying.
