Dyche will have too much criticism hit at him if the youngsters don't perform well.

least we got a better style of footy to watch ! How old was Ryan giggs when he started for man u ? this slow slow nuturing , crap! in any form of life if your good enough then go for it ! Look at computer game designers they are past it at 16!! Do the job you can whilst you are able to do it !
are we next going to see whichelow at the Vic with a Zimmer frame!!

definition of good enough BB strikers scoring , creative players creating , defenders and goal keepers keeping clean sheets seems to be a good start!

And how old were Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck when they broke into the Man U. first team? It's all very well taking Giggs as an example but he was very much the exception rather than the rule. We had John Barnes in the team at 18, but he was incredibly talented and physically mature for his age at the same time. Which is why your computer game designer analogy simply doesn't work. Footballers need a certain amount of both mental & physical maturity in order to succeed. When was the last time a computer games designer had to compete physically with a larger faster cleverer computer games designer?

Using the example of a fellow Watford fan who is an international sportsman, Steve Finn was leading wicket-taker after the 3rd test of the Ashes series last summer, brilliant for a 21yo English quick on his first tour of Oz. However, Andy Flower and his coaching staff noticed that Finny was tiring noticably so pulled him out of the rest of the series.

Our yougsters did a brilliant job for us last season but at the end they were tiring and we weren't able to do what the England cricket team were and rest them. Unfortunately, the only way they are going to get any competitive game time is either go on loan or be patient for their chance, especially with no reserve league football available.

If a goalie or defender can give you clean sheets, he is good enough, if a defensive mid can help a beleaguered defence , he is good enough , if a creative mid can create he is good enough, if a striker can score he is good enough!
The kids managed it in the first half of last season , no reason why they cant again! I dont want to wait until matty whichelow has a zimmer frame to see him play for us again ! Same goes for Massey , Murray, Britt!etc!
Cant be any worse than some of the apparant dross we have bought in ! Only newbies that look useful was Dicko ! the rest , sorry distinctly average definitely no better than our kids!
So far ( I would love to be proved wrong ) under MM and the kids we at least tried to play an intelligent brand of football!
the performance against the saints after the ref had hurt us was absolutely clueless to the point of brain dead!
I`m sorry if this seems harsh , but if i was writing the staff initial performance reviews ,the summary would be lots of effort little trade knowledge and little skill!

Gotta say Norway, you're like a dog with a bone on this one, and whatever we all say, you seem to be cocking a deaf'un.

The kids didn't cope last season. Yes, they had a few months of success, and then they were knackered and our season went to pot. Yes, it would be nice to include them in the squad, and maybe Matty will get his chance sooner rather than later, but it's far better to give them the development they need and not to rush them and burn them out. That said, you are also extremely harsh about the new players. Still, as i know you're only doing it to wind me up, i won't let it work! ;)
