I didn't understand a word of any of that which is why I watch it at son's and he does the tech stuff. I'll never get the hang of this technology era.

I have two Sons, and without them, i wouldn't have a clue as to how to figure out the computer..
I also have an iPhone, yet another mystery.
We have a McDonalds where i can order ahead of time using the iPhone, then drive up and pick up my burger Etc.
Still more amazing, i can message my Daughter in Sittingbourne every day.
I remember the day i bought my Parents a calculator, they never did trust it.
I remember listening to the wireless, "Riders of the Range" etc. Then came TV with "Sooty"
I can now watch Argyle live.
    I wonder what's next.

I can remember giving my elderly mother a musical birthday card (I think it was her 88th birthday)....and when she opened it... it talked and sung to her....and she sat there looking around the room wondering where the sound was coming from....she looked really uncomfortable and was convinced we were playing some kind of trick on her

I had to show her the tiny mechanism in between the pages to convince her that she wasn't going doolally......she kept this card on her mantelpiece most of the year and would open it up and listen to it in wonderment at times.

She died a year or so later....when I cleared her home out I came across this box of little treasures she had saved from over the years....and yes there it was amongst her favourite things....the musical birthday card....and believe it or not it still played....I found that so emotional at that moment.

So BC....it doesn't have to be just computers or i-phones or other high tech devices that leave you puzzled or baffled and you feel that the world was going by and leaving you behind....to be honest all those things would be light years into the future for my mother to comprehend.....at the end of the day she was just a simple Prince Rock girl who had married my dad who was an airman based at RAF Mountbatten and took her all over the UK with his career....they never had a telephone in their home....she said it just wasn't natural....just like coloured TV which she didn't believe in.

I think I'm in your late mother's bracket plym. The modern world of technology just passes silently over my head without making any impression at all. I was bought a smart tv. Good job it is because I'm not and am scared almost to do anything with it. I'm told you can get all sorts on it but I'm not going to try. My kids and grandkids talk all about Aps for this and that. I don't use any. I don't have a mobile phone at all and don't want one. I don't have a tablet and the only thing I do use is the thing I'm typing on right now. The use of this magic box though is quite restricted in what I can find. It's all magic to me.

I notice that summertime starts today in the USA and Canada.....so... BC... for two weeks you have a different kick-off time....so does that mean 8am for you....another hour in bed you lucky fellow.....just been thinking every time Argyle lose....you start the day on a downer....I expect you could go back to bed and refuse to get up.

Losing can become a habit....just like Argyle's defence and their habit of regularly cocking things up.....:headbang:.

Ryan Law has gone on a months loan to Torquay........Lowe used his standard comment whilst talking about Law.....'different class'......problem is it doesn't seem to be good enough to get him a game for the first team here.

Comments that Luke Jephcott hasn't been selected for Wales....who have announced their squad for their first two World Cup games......and are suggesting that he will be in their U21 squad.

Jephcott has hardly sniffed a goal for nine matches....hardly the form to get him into the full Welsh squad.....and not that definate for the U21 squad unless they have no one else to pick.

Personally he might need to be rested from the Argyle team to give him a break......he did well before teams really took notice of him....now that he has been sussed out he is finding it harder to take the few chances that come his way.

Talk of him being a £3 million player have evaporated at the moment.

Ryan Lowe is treating the players to a day down the beach today......is that him saying... you don't lose five on the trot and get away with it.

Niall Ennis has had three injuries in his short career.....he has had two fibula injuries that have sidelined him for awhile....plus a knee injury as well.

Maybe those injuries have kept other teams away from signing him.....so far he has shown no signs of any problems with us.....the fibula joins on to the achilles heel....so for a man showing a good turn of speed this is a vital area......he seems to have healed well seeing that he has broken that bone twice.....was it the same foot twice or has he done both.

Our old buddy Sepp Blatter...ex-president has been banned from football until 2028 ....he has received a new suspension of 6 years.

Also former FIFA general secretary Jerome Valke has received a similar ban... both also received a fine of £780,000.

I wouldn't bother paying the fine if I was him. He will be dead by the time the ban expires anyway. It is only small change compared to the money he probably made from all his under the counter stuff anyway. Along with the rest of the FIFA reps.
