    Coloccini has definitely deserved more credit since he's been so consistent since we got promoted.

    But based on what we've seen since Saylor has come back, who would you say was the better defender?

    It's very close.

    I reckon performances on the pitch, Saylor has been a bit better, and he has saved us so many times this season already, but we can't forget the demanding role Colo has been under recently. He's worn the captains armband very well.

    Could you choose? Don't just pick your favourite one, unless they're the one that you actually think has been better so far this season.

    Both of them.

    You can't really split them up, It's like when you split up Pique and Puyol and Ferdinand and Vidic.

    Coloccini has an immense work-rate and is always consistent, While Taylor is always Solid and Brave.

    They're the perfect mix. Taylor is strong and powerful, Colo is quick and precise. And both have great tactical awareness.

    Both compliment each other perfectly but Taylor is the more complete footballer imo. Better in the air both offensively and defensively and he scores more goals.

    Colo is very skillful and great at dispossessing the opposition but he's really gash at defending crosses.

    I remember when members on the old 606 complained about Saylor signing a new contract, I hope they enjoyed their humble pie. :D

    Taylor is less versatile than Coloccini who can adapt to a game quicker IMO but as said they're great together
