We're back!!!!!!! 10 year deal agreed with the eggchasers who seemingly are skint, and couldn't wait to get us back in!!

Anyhow, drinks on me lads at the Bistro bar pre game, if you're still in this League (no offence)

I see Newport won last night with a 96th minute penalty.

Tempted to suggest it’s a South Wales trait but then we wouldn’t get that sort of luck<whistle>

Excellent news. Let's face it, no one enjoys going to Birmingham do they....

And if the beer at the Ricoh (or surrounding area) will be free for Cardiff fans all the better <cheers>

Well chuffed for you guys in all seriousness though.

    Barnsley 0 Snow people 0

Evens things up a bit and maybe plants some seeds of doubt in the Barnsley minds.

    We can hope, can't we?

Definitely. An impressive run of wins for the Tykes but they have looked less than impressive in the last few games. Derby could easily have won tonight and hit the woodwork. That said only two shots on target each. I also think the Tykes pitch might do as much of a disservice to them as it does to their visiting opposition. They are definitely catchable.

They’ll run out of steam. But that’s academic if City don’t do what they need to.
Big big test for City on Saturday v Watford gunning for auto spot.
Doesn’t help that the ref is the midget himself Mr Keith Stroud<doh><doh>

Hope you're right but I'm not convinced by one sloppy performance last night - they've been consistently good and are a serious threat.

Big game for them Saturday. If they get anything at Bournemouth they'll be in pole position - they've got some very winnable other games left.

This is the Championship! No such thing as an easy or winnable game - especially as the finishing line is in sight.

The poisoned dwarf was the man in the middle for the Barnsley/Derby game last night. The lack of grass on that pitch will have suited him. He was able to see all the way across the park.

However the ruts must have seemed like canyons for his little legs.

Don't know how he will cope with our lush playing surface.

Seriously though this guy has made so many poor decisions against us over the years. He really owes us.

You're expecting them to do a "Forest" of last season then?

I don't care who you play in this Championship, they are all difficult games and nothing should be taken for granted, but some are more "winnable" than others and they've got quite a few of those.

Here's a good link on Mr. Stroud's history with us. As the article points out his start with us wasn't bad but overall he has been a real Jonah, 6.0 away to Preston and the 5.4 loss at Charlton being prime examples. Some amusing heightist comments about his short ar$redness.
