Phillips will become a regular PL CB imo but for a mid to lower half side, maybe another Coady.

 

I think he's got better acceleration but not more pace. Definitely a quicker mindset

 

We could have won 10-0 and you'd say RB gave it to us. You were practically begging for Mane to be offside (which the line clearly showed otherwise)

 

Nice to have a win but let's not get carried away they played into our hands having to attack us .Nobody is going to play that way against us in the prem but at the end of the day hopefully it will give us a confidence boost.

If you want to be fair go back and actually quote what I wrote when I saw him score first and then what I said having seen the replay and then top it off with me complimenting biscan on spotting the behind the line

 

This was a great win and deservedly so. But can we translate this onto the premiership? I am not sure.

Leipzig for all their previous performances in their league and the CL were poor today. They conceded loads of mistakes which presented us chances. And more importantly no team in the premiership play that type of 100mph football leaving large spaces at the back except Leeds United.

At last we scored but we won’t get that number of chances against a decent team in the premiership. Against us few team will be fighting for 3 points. Most will be happy to defend.

Also thought Thiago had his best game for us last night.

 

Was just nice to see us play good football, as we've been so dull of late.

Could have been better too if our finishing was better, that first half was laughable with some of the shots

 

I thought his best game was everton on one leg

For me he did fine here but again compare to prior prem games where he is struggling big time, it just suggests a lot more time and space in europe that he could exploit.
