Does anyone remember that poor landlord from Bristol who was crucified by the press for murder , he was totally innocent !
It seems pedantic, but it’s really not. **** sticks and now he’s been named before an actual charge has been sanctioned by the CPS his life is ruined anyway. He’s likely as guilty as hell like, but it’s just not how our justice system is supposed to work.
I think a reporter had to correct herself on TV today, when it was pointed out to her, that he hadn't been charged yet. I think it is just suspicion, I assume it will be so many hours/days, before they have the actual evidence. Even if they've found the body/remains it still has to go through an identification process of some sorts.
Seriously, he'd have to be thick as fck to think you can kidnap and murder someone walking home. 20 years ago maybe, but nowadays with the amount of surveillance with your mobile phone signal, number plate recognition, then DNA evidence in the car.
Nothing pedantic about it mate. Nothing worse than him walking, because they didn't dot all the charges/evidence properly.
There are a few examples including the woman murdered in a London park 20 or so years ago. Wimbledon iirc?
He'd have gone through loads of cameras on his journey (registration plate). Great Chart to Deal has to be a good 45 mins. That's not including the mileage getting out of London.
Usually if its a dumb killer they choose someone people will notice has gone missing, but if you're clever or experienced you make sure it's someone nobody cares about that tends to skip town alot.. A prostitute or drug addict is preferable, however eventually they get complacent and perhaps an opportunity they simply cannot resists presents itself.
I just listened to the polis saying they think they've found human remains and identification isn't yet known and could take along time... That tells me the face wasn't still there
