I think they've been tipped off that he's absolutely bang to rights, to be honest. They're all acting in unity and posting his information really quickly. Hopefully there's only one poor woman that he's murdered.
"We do one thing and one thing only, and that's go after bent coppers." "To the letter of the law fella, the letter of the law!"
Makes no odds, the principle is completely wrong. It’s pure sensationalism, he wouldn’t be the first to be arrested as the most likely then never be charged. They should just wait until the process takes its course over the coming hours.
Just looking at the fact she was taking a 50 min walk from her mate's home to her own, it could well be a road traffic accident which ended up killing her and then they decided to get rid of the body. It's all conjecture of course but it could be anything.
Could be, but why have they nicked his missus, if that's the case? How would they know she was involved and why would he be charged with murder? Time will tell, of course, but they seem to have a very good idea of what happened, which seems a bit strange to me.
The first part would be because both he and the mrs were in the car when they hit her and then tried disposing of the body. The second part about being charged with murder I can't answer. Unless at this stage, unless they can prove it was an accident (if that's what happened) they will automatically be charging him with murder?
I think she was arrested for assisting an offender, so I suppose that could be harbouring in the knowledge he's commited a crime. I suppose in any circumstances she would be nicked anyway, pending outcome of investigations. I assume 'assisting' just gives the legal right to pull her in.
One weird thing is that he's also been charged with a separate count of indecent exposure, as well as the kidnapping and murder charges. Very strange. I would've thought a manslaughter charge would be more applicable if he accidentally hit her, at the most. Kidnapping and murder suggests that he grabbed her and deliberately killed her.
I think there was also a seperate charge of indecent exposure, whether that's unrelated to the specific crime of the girls disappearance, again just don't know.
If he's not a serial killer he might just have been pissed behind the wheel knocked her over and his wife helped get rid of the body....
or maybe not A serving Metropolitan Police officer was arrested on Tuesday night on suspicion of kidnap and later of murder.
Tbh I haven't read anything on it today so that's more than I knew. In that case, yeh it's far more sinister whatever he/they have done. I'm not surprised that a copper would commit murder, what I find surprising is that a copper, being in the profession, would know that there is NO fcking way you are getting away with kidnap and murder with the surveillance and forensics these days
