I enjoyed that game, and a huge load of positives, mainly to do with our mentality.

As expected but we did play pretty well overall, quite enjoyed the first 40 minutes when it looked as though we might give them a real game. Annoying to give away a goal from nothing but would rather it against city than brighton!

Main thing is we go into Brighton with a few rested players and no further injuries. Roll on Sunday!

Hmm. Reckon Moussa might have picked up a bit of a strain, but no biggie.

Considering the team we put out that was weird result. We actually gave them a couple goals, so we actually created 4 to their 3. 3 defenders out of position and Redders about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Blue line and move on.

It was also important not to fold after the 5th went in. Last thing we needed tonight was another tonking. Also, Che's starting another goal streak. Vital with Ings out.

The most disappointing thing about tonight, by a mile, is that we don't get to see @thereisonlyoneno7 eat his head. <wah>

Just a thought but when does a beating become a tonking?

By his standards. He rarely makes a significant contribution.

When the goal difference is greater than 3 (using absolutely no logic, wholly based on empirical observations: we lost 5-2, not bad, we have lost 9-0, awful)

I was right to be worried about Foden tonight - he's just a wonderful footballer. It will be a crying shame if England don't make the most of his talent.

Think we are due an @Onionman thread.

Last time Vin followed me we ended up topping the league ...just saying.

EDIT: Actually after Vin was robbed, @MorgansBitOnTheSchneid kept it going to top the league, but we are saving him for the run to the FA Cup final

Yeah he looked good. And its hard to standout and look good when you look at the players he is playing with

Pep saying that we’re an excellent team, and really hard to play against. Hardest team in the first 15 that they’ve played at the Etihad.

Including the sublime finish that was disallowed.
