The trouble is mate, I just don't believe the story.

Even if it was true what kind of man would Harry be if his wife was threatening suicide and he laid down and accepted that she would be refused help. Wouldn't anyone in that position pick the phone up himself and get the best help that he could.

Also, if his wife was really so unhappy why would he tell his wife about the craic concerning his children's colour.

In all honesty I just don't find that much of it rings true.

The statement from the Palace: "recollections may vary".
What a brilliant, understated response. Speaks volumes.

She came across as someone who had been through hell and then some sort of journey or escape, having come to terms with a her experience or previous life.

I have little doubt that the life of a member of the Royal Household is truly ****ed up <cheers>

All the classic signs of somebody who suffers with mental health.

I agree with you that her mental health problems will have been there before meeting Harry. That doesn't mean to say her mental health issues haven't been made worse by the media, the royal family, or both.

Either they've pulled off a Masterclass Sting or they were sincere and genuine. Maybe that comes down to a personal belief.

Right now no one is more valuable to the Media Industry, their current attention probably eclipses the days of Lady Diana, Michael Jackson or even The Trump. Any appearance in public or even at a strictly private dinner event is an absolute gravy train for the Sussex Brand.

Personally, having watched last night's interview I cannot swallow the notion that this is a pack of lies.

And it may be moot. The **** me!!, gobsmack moment was the comment about race, like it or not that genie is not going back in the bottle and worms that won't go back in the can. It's a BOMB!

Piers Morgan's quit/fired Morning programme. After storming off set, when being called out by another presenter.

All he said was he didn't believe in Megan/Harry..

Or he was pizzed off she dropped him as a friend...

As I've previously said I have little interest in the Royals, but this is interesting and quite amusing.

People are now stating, as fact, that Megan has mental health problems .... does she?

She says she has but she does seem to like attention despite what she claims about being desperate for privacy.

Anyway, match starting soon .... have a good night.

Don’t know if this has already been mentioned, but it wasn’t that long ago that she took a newspaper to court to prevent them revealing the contents of a letter from her father. She claimed it was private and she never gave permission for it’s use in public, which I totally agree with. Pity she doesn’t understand the meaning of hypocrisy, comments were made in a private conversation and she couldn’t wait to make sure the whole world knew about them.

I think its exactly the opposite to be honest. If they're not Royal, they're not relevant. This was their last attempt to cling on to the limelight. They've shot their bolt now and it won't be long before they are largely forgotten.

I'm sure she did find being a royal extremely difficult. Its not easy and its quite evident that she didn't take to it. Does that necessitate this interview though? There was nothing about it that didn't seem contrived, even down to the heavier-than-usual eye make-up, almost directly echoing the look that Princess Diana adopted for her 'bombshell' interview with Martin Bashir. They were careful to make it clear that they had nothing bad to say about the Queen herself- the one person who can bestow or remove titles.

The Royal family have made their statement now. That has made it clear that they don't agree with much of what was said. It also makes it clear that the allegations that have been made will be dealt with in private. That will starve them of the oxygen of publicity that can be the only thing that this interview can have been intended to bring about.

As I understand it, and I am willing to be corrected, an American Lady complains that she was brought to UK when 17 years old, by her much older, now dead, very rich, boyfriend and during this visit she had sex with Andrew.

As the age of consent is 16, thats not illegal, so not a crime.

Any trafficing was done by the now dead boyfriend.

What is Andrews offence in law?

His total lack of judgement, at every stage of this sordid tale, including his TV interview is another thing, but having poor judgement is not a criminal offence,

There are 3 Joan Does, one is know the other two are not. There is also a big unknown as to when randy andy and chums first had intercourse with these 3 females and at what age and where. That is what the FBI etc want to find out, he is resisting talking to them, obviously under lawyer advice.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

I am very far from being a monarchist, but happy to accept that most people are. However, this imbroglio has not only had me feeling a bit of sympathy for them, it's also, and even more incredibly, got me sympathising with Piers Morgan for having an opinion on a telly show , on which he was paid to appear and ......offer an opinion!

I would shed no tears were HRH The Duke of York be strung up by the US Authorities.

But The Fifth Amendment protects individuals from being forced to incriminate themselves. Incriminating oneself is defined as exposing oneself (or another person) to "an accusation or charge of crime," or as involving oneself (or another person) "in a criminal prosecution or the danger thereof.".
    (I pasted this)

Someone, somewhere is playing a game here.
'Please Mr Windsor, would you be kind enough to give us enough information to put you away'

    Could he be that stupid?
Well, he aint been too clever so far, but I doubt it.
And why should he not be entitled to the same legal protection as everybody else.

After all it has recently been claimed that if you drive on the wrong side of the road and kill someone in The US of A, the punishment is some community service and a donation to a local charity.
So this offense, or offenses. look like small beans to me, IN COMPARISON.

It would appear than anyone who plays the 'mental health issue' card immediately gains immunity from any blame.

Yep. No doubt a very bad thing for those who suffer it, though how it can be made better by flaunting it in front of hundreds of millions in a tactical, set piece , puff ball "interview" is for greater minds than mine.

But it can also be the new " bad back". I know two people who have had pretty lengthy stretches off work ( paid of course) by citing a non existent depression. They have actually told me this themselves!

My problem is when people self diagnose all manner of mental illness which is easy.

Is Megan still suicidal, is she having treatment, or is she just happier now she's got her own way? Every teenager, in the country, has screamed 'I wish I was dead' at some point ...

... it doesn't mean it's justifiable or that they're mentally ill.

Perhaps some people never grow out of it.
