I bet you tried not filling in the 'send me a confirmation' bit too, thinking it'd help win the race, only to find it then asks you even more questions than you'd have filled in in the first place. I've had a load of emails since telling me they've cancelled the appointments it told me I couldn't make. It's not very good really.
Anyone know if you have the jab, would a test then show positive as having had the virus, even if you haven't been exposed? My mate has been hibernating, had his jab, and then got a message a day or so later from that app thing saying he'd been near an infected person (he didn't reckon it was at the vaccine place, but that would have made me laugh). He had the tests, and showed positive, even though he's been near nobody at all.
Vaccine shouldn't make somebody provide a positive test because they aren't using the live virus in it...
I've not had the jab yet, but I have heard from some at work saying that those who have had a flu jab previously, the discomfort is less than not having had the flu jab. cant confirm it personally.
Similar to my AZ experience, no dead arm but exactly twelve hours later I got the shivers and then the sweats, only lasted overnight for me - wife had flu symptoms a full twenty four hours.
Yeah that's how it started for me, I woke up shivering and needed to run to the toilet to be sick. Not looking forward to round 2 if it's going to be the same. There's a theory that the younger you are the more the vaccine can effect you. I'm only 18 and a few years
I must have been lucky, I logged on, it gave me City Hall as the first option and I booked me an the missus ten minutes apart for the first and second jabs, couldn't have been easier.
I had mine yesterday at a pharmacy on ope, very easy to book, plenty of parking and no queue,no side effects at all, maybe the 10 cans i had last night watching city might have helped
Question... Because I've read conflicting reports recently, in fact since this whole thing started. When you've had the vaccine, can you still pass it on, or are you a safe place? I honestly can't seem to find a definitive answer to this.
