Can’t we try playing on the counter? Our attack has gone AWOL ( our two goals were gifts). All we need is a draw or at worst a defeat by one goal.

Defeatist but pragmatic to progress. If we play like WBA away, with a packed defence and catch them on the break as they really have to open up, we’ll get a result.

And I am not even joking :(

They are things that grow in the ground.

I know the closest you get are those beans in KFC but those are actually fruits :)

I would for this game. I would sit deep as this lot need to attack and score 2.

They need to be patient but one goal and LFC crack should be their thinking.

I would sit deep and knock it over the top at salah and mane. they have to be attacking so we should be happy enough the longer it goes 0-0 as they will inevitably have to cough up some sort of a chance.

However i would expect a much bigger effort out of this ****head players who can't be bothered at anfield. The CL is their shop window now. Like rats leaving a sinking ship :)

A 0-0 would be a great result atm. This match is now our whole season.

    it would be routine.

routine would be perfectly lovely right now.

Last year we messed up the CL last 16 by conceding first leg v atletico but in prior year; drew with bayern, tonked them away. the rprior year we absolutely hammered prorto and took a 0-0 in seocnd leg.

We ought to be good enough to get the draw here. We are not, but with OUGHT to me even with a **** Cb pairing.

    my betting on team is:

    alisson
    Taa Fabinho Kabak Robertson
    Thiago Wijnaldum Jones
    Salah firmino Mane

I'd want firmino dropping deep and let salalah just run behind and let us knock it over the drop all night.

We will be very lucky to go through. Although we won 2-0 in the first leg we capitalised on their mistakes as opposed to creating two goals through our scintillating attacking skills.

Some would say our high press created those mistakes which led to our chances

We’ll need that high press and importantly that intensity missing recently.
