Probably because they’ll get you a nice new shed out in the sticks and stick a few hundred million quid’s worth of real estate and commercial property on that plot, then begin to starve other areas of the city before offering to buy it from the council at a knock down price and before you know it they’ll own your city centre and you lot will love every minute of it because they’ll fetch you a league cup in about 6 years. Or something along those lines.
